Bug#669881: python-tweepy is out of date

Since Twitters deprecation of API 1.0 on June 11 [0], Tweepy 1.7 is 
unusable, since 1.1 support was only added in 2.0 [1], released on 
February 10 [2].


Please update the package to keep it usable.

Hi,

The version of tweepy in sid is out of date. It is version 1.7 in sid,
but up to version 1.9 on github

https://github.com/tweepy/tweepy/tags

It's true that there is no egg file for this or the previous 1.8 release,
so it needs to be built from source.

The newer versions of tweepy keep up with the twitter APIs specs and
add more comprehensive OAuth support.
