Bug#673304: libextractor: please migrate the libpoppler-dev build dependency to libpoppler-private-dev
severity 673304 serious thanks Hi, Alle lunedì 11 giugno 2012, Pino Toscano ha scritto: Alle lunedì 21 maggio 2012, Pino Toscano ha scritto: When do you need this to be uploaded ? I am not sure I want to bother mentors for an upload fixing only a wishlist bug. If you are willing to sponsor the upload, this can be fixed as soon as you want. I see you are busy in a transition, so an upload just for this would unnecessarly delay it. Your libextractor transition and the other two transitions where it got involved in (rpm and poppler) have been done now (finally!), so please upload it when possible. With the upload of poppler 0.18.4-3 (done yesterday), now libextractor will fail to build. Sorry, libextractor was the last package left with this migration pending, an I wanted to complete it for wheezy. My idea was to get this migration done before wheezy; there still are like half a dozen of cases like this still left, so I'm not totally sure I will be able to... anyway, having one case less in wheezy would certainly help. Hi, I changed the build dependency to libpoppler-private-dev in the git repository [1] When do you need this to be uploaded ? I am not sure I want to bother mentors for an upload fixing only a wishlist bug. If you are willing to sponsor the upload, this can be fixed as soon as you want. Bug#673304: libextractor: please migrate the libpoppler-dev build dependency to libpoppler-private-dev
Package: libextractor Version: 0.6.3-4 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch Hi, I'm planning a move of the poppler private headers, currently shipped in libpoppler-dev, out of that package (which is installed by other poppler -dev packages) to a new libpoppler-private-dev. Could you please switch the libpoppler-dev build dependency to libpoppler-private-dev? Attached there is a patch for it.
