Bug#679907: reportbug: Attachments silently dropped when not using internal MUA
Hi Sandro (2012.08.19_01:07:36_+0200) but it might be confused/ignored as the heading section. Were you thinking of something like the manpage as additional source of information for this configuration? That'd be good, yes. The situation where I regularly ran into this was a script that wraps around reportbug, submittodebian (in ubuntu-dev-tools) which generates a debdiff, and uses the changelog entry as starting point for the bug report. submittodebian was clearly originally written by someone not using mua mode, as it uses --attach.
