Bug#688159: gnome-shell bug #688159 power down on a laptop is really awkward
One solution (or workaround) is the Alternative Status Menu extension. It makes the power-off and other options always visible, no alt-key required. https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/5/alternative-status-menu/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Package: gnome-shell Version: 3.4.2-1 Severity: important The gnome-shell UI requires the user to hold down the ALT key while selecting the power down option from the menu This is actually quite an unpleasant maneuver on a laptop with a touchpad instead of a mouse -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
