I did not perform many tests (only three documents printed), but until
now, it works !

Regards,

Denis

Unfortunately, the problem is still there : here is what I did :

1) reset options : since the new unstable release is supposed to fix the
problem, no need to keep them :

lpadmin -p Stylus_Photo_750 -R usb-unidir-default
lpadmin -p Stylus_Photo_750 -R usb-no-reattach-default

2) apt-get install cups/unstable = cups is upgraded to 1.5.3-2.15 with
its dependencies and restarted

3) switch off and on the printer

4) try to print = first job (one page) OK, second job (one page) fails
the same way it used to with previous cups release and no special
lpadmin option

Okay. That's exactly what I was afraid of: picking the wrong option.

Does this fix it ?

lpadmin -p Stylus_Photo_750 -o usb-no-reattach-default=true

(it should…)

Cheers,

Hi OdyX,

that's just what I was testing.
Till now, 2 print jobs were successful, but that's not enough to be sure
it works.

I'm going on testing and will let you know.

Denis
