Altough I don't understand well why could I drop the Replaces field,
I've re-uploaded a new version to mentors fixing it as you suggested.

Changes since the last upload:

* debian/control: fixed package relationships, thanks to Ansgar Burchardt.
* debian/copyright: fixed lintian warning about symbolic link to License.

* debian/watch: fixed URL limitation to the versions 1.6.x, thanks to Bart 
Martens.

Hi,

the Replaces: eggdrop (>= 1.6.16-2) for eggdrop-data in debian/control 
looks wrong.  eggdrop-data should Breaks+Replaces version of eggdrop 
that are *before* than the package split.


Given that eggdrop-data was introduced in 2004, you could also just drop 
the Replaces field.
