[please *always* CC the bug report] Hi Johan, your screenshot indicates that this is actually a problem in gnome-shell and I can reproduce the problem with GNOME 3.4 (when disabling the device, it is still listed as connected). It works fine with nm-applet though (you can test that in the GNOME fallback/classic session). Can you please verify, that nm-applet(network-manager-gnome) actually works correctly. If so, I will re-assign the bug to gnome-shell. It might need some adjustments for network-manager 0.9.8. Upstream just pointed me to this patch [1] for NM which is supposed to fix the issue without having to change the GNOME Shell code. Will apply the patch and provide updated packages. Would be great if you can test them, before I upload them to unstable.
