I noticed that the search function no longer works with
googleearth_6.0.3.2197+0.7.0-1
and always returns "Invalid HTTP request", although the URL returned, found
using wireshark,
is valid and can be cut+pasted into a browser.

Using the google-earth-stable_7.1.1.1871-r0 (from earth.google.com) fixed the
problem and allowed
searches in googleearth to be done again.

So until make-googlearth is upgraded to build the 7.x version of googleearth,
the resulting package
will have little functionality because it won't be able to search new
locations. The check for updates
in googleearth 6.x does not indicate that a version 7 is available.

thanks,
--jack
