The reason is explained at the top of the file.

From my -selfish- point of view I'd like to see those entries added :

 dicom 2 tcp DICOM [David_Clunie] [David_Clunie] 2005-08
 dicom 2 udp DICOM [David_Clunie] [David_Clunie] 2005-08
Which Debian package uses this protocol?

- dcmtk
- pixelmed
- gdcm
- aeskulap
- dicomscope
- ginkgocadx

Does it use TCP, UDP or both?

Only TCP is allowed as per the DICOM standard.

Thanks,

Bug#710361: missing entries in /etc/services

2013-05-30 Thread Mathieu Malaterre
Package: netbase
Version: 4.45
Severity: wishlist

For some reason netbase: /etc/services is missing some entries from:
http://www.iana.org/assignments/service-names-port-numbers/service-names-port-numbers.xml

From my -selfish- point of view I'd like to see those entries added :

dicom 2 tcp DICOM [David_Clunie] [David_Clunie] 2005-08
dicom 2 udp DICOM [David_Clunie] [David_Clunie] 2005-08

thanks
