FYI, the information is not really/completly lost...

 marco has a point about data loss (if he is right on it, but i assume 
so)
 well, technically the data is not "lost", as nothing removes the old rrd 
files, but it's still annoying
 …that "df" changes output, and our "df" plugin depends on that
 yeah
 nitpicking for professionals, volume two ;-p
 :)
 the graph is gone. but maybe its a nice hint in the bug log
