Bug#725505: gnupg2: Pubkey list in gpg2 --version output contains question marks

2013-10-10 Thread Bernhard Reiter
The Author of Gnupg Werner Koch writes:

Due to changes in Libgcrypt 1.6 some internal mappings had to
be implemented which unfortunately introduced this bug. It is however
only an informational message and not relevant for the internal working.

Bug#725505: gnupg2: Pubkey list in gpg2 --version output contains question marks

2013-10-06 Thread Vincent Lefevre
Package: gnupg2
Version: 2.0.22-1
Severity: minor

With gnupg 1.4.14-1:

xvii:~ gpg --version
gpg (GnuPG) 1.4.14
[...]
Pubkey: RSA, RSA-E, RSA-S, ELG-E, DSA
[...]

but with gnupg2 2.0.22-1:

xvii:~ gpg2 --version
gpg (GnuPG) 2.0.22
[...]
Pubkey: RSA, ELG, DSA, ?, ?
[...]

I suppose that these question marks come from a bug.
At least they are not informative for the end user
(the gpg2 man page doesn't say anything about them).
