Hi you both. >[¹] https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/python-modules/packages/pdfminer.git I did a build and install, but I had to use --auto-deconfigure to make it configure properly. debomatic-amd64 ran piupart successfully, so the problem should have been that dpkg wasn't smart enough to understand it http://debomatic-amd64.debian.net/distribution#unstable/pdfminer/20140328+dfsg-1/piuparts I installed apt from experimental, installed pdfminer from testing and ran "sudo apt install pdfminer-data_20140328+dfsg-1_all.deb python-pdfminer_20140328+dfsg-1_all.deb" successfully. The package has been sponsored on unstable, thanks for letting me contribute there! cheers, G.

[Adding Stefano Rivera since he already reviewed the package: I'm sure that with the git migration and all other stuff he simply forgot this upload. :)] Hello Gianfranco, thanks for the ping! On Wednesday, November 04, 2015 01:46:33 PM Gianfranco Costamagna wrote: > Hi, ping again > this is the last blocker for w3af. The package is now on git[¹] and it builds twice in a row inside a pbuilder chroot. It seems to be lintian clean except for: P: pdfminer source: debian-watch-may-check-gpg-signature X: python-pdfminer: library-package-name-for-application usr/bin/dumppdf usr/bin/latin2ascii usr/bin/pdf2txt X: python-pdfminer: application-in-library-section python usr/bin/dumppdf usr/bin/latin2ascii usr/bin/pdf2txt But I will simply ignore experimental tags for now: I did not use a lintian override. Right now the package does not use pybuild, my original plan was to switch to it after this upload. This because I tested switching to pybuild but there were several paths to change, so I thought to postpone the switch. > I can sponsor the package if needed. I don't think Stefano will be disappointed if you sponsor pdfminer, so thanks if you can look at it and sponsor me. Kind regards, [¹] https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/python-modules/packages/pdfminer.git -- Daniele Tricoli 'eriol' https://mornie.org signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.
