Bug#757003: owncloud: No UI for tasks / Please package Tasks Enhanced app
Package: owncloud Version: 7.0.0+dfsg-2 Severity: wishlist Since the upgrade to Owncloud 7, there doesn't seem to be any web UI to manage tasks. They can be handled by CalDAV (so Icedove/Thunderbird and other CalDAV clients can see and edit them), but they're hidden from thin clients (browsers). Could you include the Tasks Enhanced application in the package, or maybe in a separate package? Bug#757003: owncloud: No UI for tasks / Please package Tasks Enhanced app
Control: reassign -1 wnpp Control: retitle -1 ITP: owncloud-apps -- third party applications for ownCloud Control: owner -1 ! Hi Roland, Thanks for the proposal, On Mon, Aug 04, 2014 at 01:15:27PM +0200, Roland Mas wrote: Since the upgrade to Owncloud 7, there doesn't seem to be any web UI to manage tasks. […] Could you include the Tasks Enhanced application in the package, or maybe in a separate package? I’d rater see it in a separate package. That will allow separate updates and even separate maintainership (if someone is actually interested in this application I don’t use myself, pretty please take the lead on this one!). I guess some other applications are missing (Luca was missing the Antivirus one that also used to be shipped in previous ownCloud versions), and even if such third party application may be worth its own package in the long term, I think that grouping them all could make sense for now: getting one package out of NEW may be easier than many packages before the upcoming freeze. Are there other missing features (no one complained in Debian channels yet TTBOMK, but maybe the Music one would also be of interest)? I thus propose to package the Tasks Enhanced application in a new owncloud-apps package, and also include the Antivirus and Music apps in this package. Please keep the ownCloud for Debian maintainers pkg-owncloud-maintain...@lists.alioth.debian.org CC on reply, that should be the best place to coordinate efforts about this package.
