Bug#759796: RFS: gemrb/0.8.1-1
Hello Stephen, Thanks for your reply, I have updated the copyright years and uploaded the package to mentors.d.n again. I have also found and fixed another issue during the build: whenever libpython3-dev and cmake = 3.0 are installed, python3 libraries were selected instead of python2. Regarding the lowercase file issue, I haven't found any problem on my side. I was able to load and play Planescape: Torment and other games without modifying the filename case. Could you please give me more detail about the segfault (attach gemrb log, gdb backtrace, and / or open an dedicated bug)? I haven't considered implementing support in game-data-packager as I didn't know it existed. I will have a look to see how this could be done. Best, -- Beren Minor

Control: owner -1 ! Hi Beren, On Thu, 25 Sep 2014 23:21:20 +0200, Beren Minor beren.minor+deb...@gmail.com wrote: I am still looking for a sponsor for my GemRB package. The details are in the OP of this bug report (#759796 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=%20759796). I've taken a look at this, and the only issue I can see is that the copyright years need to be updated to 2003-2014 (see gemrb/core/VEFObject.cpp and gemrb/GUIScripts/CreateControlDecorators.py amongst others). If you fix this I'll sponsor the package! It might also be worth pointing out in README.Debian that filenames should be converted to lower-case after extraction, in particular for the GoG releases, as documented in http://www.gemrb.org/wiki/doku.php?id=install:unshield-bg1 - for me the game segfaults after the intro movies if this isn't done. Have you considered implementing support for the game files in game-data-packager? Regards, Stephen signature.asc Description: PGP signature

Hello Adam, Thanks for looking into this and sorry for the missing B-D. I have added it and checked with pbuilder, it should work fine now. I have updated the mentors.d.n upload if you fancy trying again. -- Beren Minor On Sun, Aug 31, 2014 at 12:20 AM, Adam Borowski kilob...@angband.pl wrote: On Sat, Aug 30, 2014 at 04:13:45PM +0200, Beren Minor wrote: * Package name: gemrb When attempting to build: .
