With dns=unbound enabled the 01-dnssec-trigger dispatcher script isn't
used, and NM calls dnssec-trigger-script itself. The hardcoded path in
NM doesn't match where the script is installed on Debian, and thus the
plugin fails. A trivial patch to fix this is attached.
Thanks for the patch, Arto.
Unfortunately this replaces one hard-coded location with another
hard-coded location so is not upstreamable.
Could you raise this issue upstream (like [1]) and see if we can address
e.g. via a configure switch.
Considering that upstream plans to integrate the functionality of
dnssec-trigger-script into the NM plugin itself this entire setup is
likely to be temporary. What I hoped to achieve with this patch (and the
NMU of dnssec-trigger) is to get this functionality (usable dnssec for
machines that move between networks) into jessie. Beyond that I expect
dnssec-trigger to be obsoleted by a more integrated setup anyway.
I don't have an account on gnome bugzilla, but I can get one and file
this there if you prefer. I do hope to see this fixed one way or the
other before the freeze, in any case.
