According to the upstream bug, this was fixed a few weeks after it was
reported upstream.

Does this bug still exist in the version of nautilus in Debian 9
'stretch' (3.22.x) or in buster/sid (3.30.x)?

Thanks,

Bug#765308: nautilus: Nautilus fails to open LUKS-encrypted USB stick

2014-10-13 Thread Kjö Hansi Glaz
Package: nautilus
Version: 3.14.0-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Plug a LUKS-encrypted USB stick created by Disks (gnome-disk-utility)

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?

Click on the entry corresponding to the USB stick in nautilus's left
panel.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

None.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

I'd expect to be prompred for my passphrase and then to be show the
content of my USB stick.

Note that I can unlock and mount the USB stick from Disks

Thanks for maintaining Nautilus in Debian!
