Package: asterisk Version: 1:13.0.0~dfsg-2 Severity: wishlist Hi, After doing debcheckout asterisk fullfilling the dependencies, starting fakeroot dpkg-buildpackage -uc -us got me dpkg-source: error: can't build with source format '3.0 (quilt)': no upstream tarball found at ../asterisk_13.0.0~dfsg.orig.tar.{bz2,gz,lzma,xz} dpkg-buildpackage: error: dpkg-source -b asterisk gave error exit status 255 It would nice if the file debian/README.source has information how to build Asterisk debian package from Source Code Management, SCM, tools. At https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-source.html#s-readmesource is this text: debian/README.source may also include any other information that would be helpful to someone modifying the source package.
