Bug#772498: Missing translations (incomplete debian/get-upstream-i18n)

Unfortunately, it seems like some translations are not stored in the expected place, e.g., the French translation is available from themes/twentyfourteen/1.1/fr_FR/twentyfourteen-fr_FR.po in the SVN tree, while fr_FR/tags/3.6/messages/ does not contain anything related to twentyfourteen. Hmm, I saw there were some files in all sorts of places but thought they were duplicates, not replacements. Perhaps they were replacements. They're a little mixed up. Not sure what would be the best way forward (i.e., if the same file is available in both places, which one should be chosen?), maybe will you have an idea about it. Sorry, I don't understand why they have changed it, or perhaps put them in one spot one time and another another time. There might be a good reason, but I don't know what it is. If you don’t have time to investigate, I can look closer and propose a patch for debian/get-upstream-i18n, please let me know. I’m happy to take care of the unblock request with the release team if we’re able to fix this soon enough. Sure, I'm not sure if I'll have time to work out which twisty mazes, all looking alike to get a sensible set of translation files. The translations are certainly looking better than before, but if you have the time, sure I'd appreciate another set of eyes on it. - Craig -- Craig Small (@smallsees) http://enc.com.au/ csmall at : enc.com.au Debian GNU/Linux http://www.debian.org/ csmall at : debian.org GPG fingerprint:5D2F B320 B825 D939 04D2 0519 3938 F96B DF50 FEA5 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. E.g, $ ls fr_FR/branches/4.1/messages/ admin-fr_FR.mo admin-network-fr_FR.mo continents-cities-fr_FR.mo fr_FR.mo twentyfourteen twentytwelve admin-fr_FR.po admin-network-fr_FR.po continents-cities-fr_FR.po fr_FR.po twentythirteen $ ls sv_SE/*s/4.1 sv_SE/branches/4.1: dist messages sv_SE/tags/4.1: Not sure what would be the best way forward (i.e., if the same file is available in both places, which one should be chosen?), maybe will you have an idea about it.
