Package: sane-utils
Version: 1.0.24-8
Followup-For: Bug #772554
Dear Maintainer,
Not sure if this is the same bug. I have an Epson Perfection 1260 scanner.
It was working all right on Wheezy (took a while to warm up, but
eventually was available). Since the update to Jessie, it doesn't
work at all. When I have the "xsane" package installed, "gimp"
hangs forever during startup. "scanimage -L" hangs forever with
no output. In fact, I can't even "kill" or "kill -9" any of the
"/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/xsane" or "scanimage" processes.
I changed "option warmup" from "-1" to "3" in "/etc/sane.d/plustek.conf",
but that doesn't help either.
