There hasn't seem to be any update on this bug in 558 days, in which
time the Reproducible Builds effort has come on a long way. :)

Hi,

While working on the reproducible builds effort [1], we have noticed
that qmail-run could not be built reproducibly.

The attached patch removes timestamps from the build system. Once
applied, qmail-run can be built reproducibly in our current experimental
framework.
