Maybe some ibus (or something else) update broke it? I am using Debian jessie with latest updates as of February 22, 2015. Environment is xfce. Anyway, given this is not a release-critical bug this is FAR too late for jessie to do anything on. Please try with LO 4.4 (available in experimental.), sorry.
