That is weird. If you don't mind I'm closing the issue, but feel free to reopen 
it if you find it again.

I can't seem to reproduce this problem anymore, which is strange because the 
day I've noticed it I've tried tudu on 2 different terminal emulators to make 
sure (simpleterm (suckless st) and evilvte).
In both case I had this segfault even with a blank .xml file and even after 
updating it from 0.8.2 (jessie) to 0.10-1 (experimental).

I haven't touch tudu since, but now it runs fine. My working environment hasn't 
changed.

I'm not able to reproduce the issue. Can you start from a clean file with 
something like:
$ tudu -f /tmp/tudu.xml

And describe to me step by step what to do to reproduce the issue.

I tried to delete a main task, first of all whithout deleting its subtasks. 
This leads to seg fault.
Then I deleted, one by one, all subtasks, then tried to delete the main task. 
This leads to seg fault as well.

Normally, deleting ("dd" keyboard input) should delete the task
