I also don't think this is a Qt bug as long as the window decoration are not 
managed by Qt itself (which to the best of my knowledge is the case).

Andoru: please create a new user in your system and then try again, this time 
using openbox's default configuration.

For me as vlc and openbox maintainer something wrong is in user openbox 
configuration.


I don't have this problem with my config also on clean sid install with 
lxqt not exists too.

Reassigning to qt and openbox, as vlc has nothing to do with the window
decorations.
