Bug#794007: haskell-hmatrix: add the gsl binding
@picca, are you a user of the hmatrix package, or did you report the bug for other reasons? Hello, I am using the gsl binding for my hkl project. I use haskell in order to prototype my code then I do the implementation in C (because for my job, I need to provide a C library which compile with a plain RHEL 4...) Cheers Frederic

Since I originally package hmatrix, I guess this may be addressed to me. To be honest, I haven't used this package much recently and, given its rather low popcon, I somehow believe this is superfluous in Debian (it probably contributes to the maintenance burden of DHG) and was thus more inclined to consider it for removal. Anyways, a quick look reveals that, of these extra hmatrix packages, only hmatrix-gsl is listed in LTS or stackage. What's should be done in this respect? Anyways, a quick look reveals that, of these extra hmatrix packages, only hmatrix-gsl is listed in LTS or stackage. What's should be done in this respect? Of course we can still package them, even if they are not in stackage. But it looks as if stackage simply did the same mistake, so if we package the other packages, we should also push for having them included in Stackage. So in that case talk to the maintainers and ask them to add their package to Stackage.
