Pseudo-random ? Please use only random for true random (cryptographic
quality) number

No idea. Taken from the upstream project description:

A library for uniform random number generation in OpenCL.

Should I update the short description to:

OpenCL pseudo-random number generation library

then ?

Cheers,

No idea. Taken from the upstream project description:

A library for uniform random number generation in OpenCL.
according to documentation: Currently, the library implements the
following three generators: MRG31k3p [4], MRG32k3a [7], LFSR113 [8]
and Philox-4×32-10 [11] .

So I think pseudo random according to title of publication...

Should I update the short description to:
 OpenCL pseudo-random number generation library

Yes you should

 then ?

 Cheers,
 Ghis

generate random numbers either on the host or on computing devices by work
  items.

This package will be co-maintainded under the Debian science group, as part
of the existing eco-system of OpenCL mathematical libraries.

Thanks for the recommendation, Bastien.

Will make sure this is done when I start working on the packaging.

Best regards,
Ghislain
