Package: kpartx
Version: 0.5.0-7
Severity: normal

Man page:

              kpartx -av disk.img

This will output lines such as:

              loop3p1 : 0 20964762 /dev/loop3 63

Reality:

        root@darkstar:/home/joey>kpartx -avs disk
        add map loop0p1 (254:0): 0 192512 linear /dev/loop0 2048

It would be helpful if the man page documents that the actual output looks
like, at least to the point of documenting that it starts with "add map".

It may be that the output format has changed since the man page was written.
That's worrying. I'm not sure if the verbose output is really intended to be
parsed, but there are programs that do parse it (for example, vmdebootstrap).
