That makes no sense and is not now the bug tracker is used.  The bug is 
still present, I am re-opening the original bug to save all history, not 
bloat the bug tracker with new copies of the same bugs every few years.

If there is some additional information you require other than the 
verification the bug is still present on buster, please feel free ask 
for it.  It seems bog-simple straightforward to reproduce to me, but 
perhaps my multiple different systems over the years have some 
configuration that is unusual.

Again, my thanks for packaging up a great scanning program that runs 
under multiple desktop environments, and my thanks to upstream for the 
application.

Hello,

in my mail from 14-07-2019 I asked to open a new bug report if the bug
still exists.

Background is

 * the report was created in 2015 on a now totally outdated system.
 * This means that current data, which is important for IMHO to re
   forward to the upstream author, is not available.

There is no change to this bug in version 3.30.1.1-1 in buster.  Window 
borders are still missing when using the application in KDE.
