Bug#801331: jdresolve: malformed output in jessie

Any chance of getting this patch applied and an updated package released 
for jessie and stretch?


I've applied the fix manually on all my systems and it works fine.

Severity: important

With the latest version of Net::DNS / libnet-dns-perl the output of
jdresolve in jessie is malformed.

Here is a transcript:
$ cat /etc/debian_version
8.2
$ echo "8.8.8.8" | jdresolve -n -
Net::DNS::DomainName1035=HASH(0x1864e50)


In wheezy it is working as expected:
$ cat /etc/debian_version
7.9
$ echo "8.8.8.8" | jdresolve -n -
google-public-dns-a.google.com
