Package: lldb-3.8 Version: 1:3.8~+rc2-1~exp1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
The latest version of the package contains symlinks /usr/bin/lldb-3.8 and /usr/lib/llvm-3.8/bin/lldb but not the actual lldb binary /usr/lib/llvm-3.8/bin/lldb-3.8.0, so it basically doesn't provide the debugger at all. I don't know if this is a regression or not because I had been previously using the packages from http://llvm.org/apt/unstable/ which did include lldb (but didn't include ASAN libraries which are available in Debian packages, see https://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=22757) -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (100, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: unable to detect Versions of packages lldb-3.8 depends on: ii libllvm3.8 1:3.8~+rc2-1~exp1 ii llvm-3.8-dev 1:3.8~svn254193-1 ii python 2.7.11-1 ii python-lldb-3.8 1:3.8~svn254193-1 lldb-3.8 recommends no packages. lldb-3.8 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
