Hello, It seems as if httpredir sometimes sends you to 'unapproved' security mirrors. The front page of httpredir.debian.org says: For the security repository, you should not rely on third party mirrors. You should always use them in addition to the main mirrors. I.e. list the third party mirror first, and then security.debian.org. Perhaps httpredir should just return a 404 for /debian-security/ to resolve this. thanks! micah -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.4.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
