OTOH, DMD / DDPO / tracker didn't see it, because they rely on the BTS source package based listing. Note though: we did upload open-iscsi to experimental not too long ago, and it passed binNEW because we added an additional binary package 'iscsiuio' (that the BTS now correctly identifies with the source package, see [1]). The next upload was then to sid, also incorporating the experimental changes. The 'open-iscsi-udeb' package has always been built from src:open-iscsi though - in all suits. Regards, Christian [1] https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=iscsiuio

Here is another example of a bug connection missing in experimental: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?src=libkface https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=libkface-data The bug in question is https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=810515 Andreas

I revamped the way that this was being handled completely, so it at least fixed the archive changes. It's also currently looking at experimental. I've also checked https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?maint= and all of the bugs I've looked at there are from packages which have been removed from Debian. That said, there is apparently some trouble which happens during bug submission which leads to unknown-package@ being mailed. I'll be checking that out shortly. -- Don Armstrong https://www.donarmstrong.com S: Make me a sandwich B: What? Make it yourself. S: sudo make me a sandwich B: Okay. -- xkcd http://xkcd.com/c149.html

PTS: https://packages.qa.debian.org/libb/libbson.html Maybe it's related to libbson only being in experimental, not in sid. That would make at least some sense, given the recent archive changes. Specifically, bugs-master:/srv/bugs.debian.org/home/update-sources appears to look for {Packages,Sources}.gz and spawn zcat. Regards, Adam
