Bug#838889: vidalia: Please toggle control panel visibility when clicking on panel icon

Control: tag -1 + upstream

Hi Petter,

FYI Vidalia has been unmaintained upstream for years, which is why we
got it removed from testing and sid. So, unless someone takes over
upstream maintenance, it seems reasonable not to expect feature
requests to be acted upon any time soon. Sorry!

Cheers!

Bug#838889: vidalia: Please toggle control panel visibility when clicking on panel icon

2016-09-26 Thread Petter Reinholdtsen

Package: vidalia
Version: 0.2.20-2
Severity: wishlist

Most (all?) of my KDE panel icons toggle the user interface when I click
on the panel icon. For example if I lock on the battery icon a control
panel show up, if I click on my hexchat or network manager icon the
application is raised to the top or the control panel show up. If I
clock on the icon again the window disappear again (ie is
hidden/minimized).

But when I do the same with the onion icon from vidalia, nothing happen.
Could it be changed to invoke the control panel when I do, and hide it
if I clock it again when the control panel is the topmost window? It
would make the GUI experience more consistent and the user experience
with vidalia more convenient. :)
