That hardware works fine for me. But I'm on Debian Unstable.

But given that you too are on a very recent kernel, it shouldn't matter if you
are on Debian Stable or Unstable.

The hardware is very dependent of the firmware, and the mode of operation in
firmware.

Please try the following:
Load the module with these arguments: fwlps=0 swlps=1

I hope it'll solve your issue.

Looks like one of those firmware-related bugs. Have you checked
firmware-related packages like firmware-realtek or firmware-non-free ?
