thanks for the heads up.

I already discussed this with Elmar (who made me aware of
Net::Abuse::Utils) and he sent a fixing patch upstream only a few
minutes before your bug report:

Hrm. I'm sure, it worked at least when doing "adt-run ./ --- null".

Maybe that would have needed additional test dependencies. But we're
fixing that properly (in libnet-whois-ip-perl).
