The old OID for the proxy certificate extension used to implement the
pre-rfc (or draft) proxies is not defined in the openssl library, but
must be added using OBJ_create. The voms library triggers an assertion
if this creation fails. This works fine if the voms library is the only
thing that tries to define this extension.
However, if an other library that also defines this OID - such as the
globus libraries - is used in the same process the assertion is
triggered. This affects e.g. the lcmaps voms plugin and the voms
support in myproxy.
