The package was re-uploaded because the upgrade of icu4j from the
version 4.2.1.1 to 57.1 broke lucene2.

It'll simply go away with lucene2.

This package fails to build with default-jdk pointing to openjdk-9-jdk,
although it would probably be easy to fix.

The package has been superseded by multiple versions of icu4j, all of
which are still in the archive.

The only rdepend is a Recommends: by liblucene2-java, which I also hope
to RM: https://bugs.debian.org/875401
