That's an option. Let's wait for things to age and see if they can migrate on
their own without further action.

Cheers,

Everything that can be NMUed or binNMUed has been completed.

Ovito is a problem. See #886340. I've fooled around with it a bit and can't
get it to build, so I'll leave it for someone else. I guess it could be
temporarily removed from testing to get the transition finished if the
maintainer doesn't turn anything up?

No need to binNMU qgis for this transition. An upload is expected today. See

It looks like you are renaming the -dev packages, and the new ones provide the
old ones. We'll need the old ones to be decrufted before we schedule the
binNMUs, otherwise the old real packages may be installed during the rebuilds.

Otherwise it looks fine. Go ahead.

Bug#885649: transition: src:qscintilla2

2017-12-28 Thread Scott Kitterman
Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: transition

I've uploaded the new qscintilla2 to experimental and tested all the reverse-
build-depends. Due to upstream library renaming, this requires a number of
sourceful uploads. In all cases that an upload is required, I've file a bug
with the appropriate debdiff. There are two packages that are already broken;
monkeystudio is FTBFS and orphaned and ovito is FTBFS unstable only. I do
not plan to touch those packages for the transition.

libqscintilla2-dev
Reverse-Build-Depends
=
* codequery - binNMU
* qgis - binNMU
* smokeqt - Upload dropping binary in unstable
* tora - bug filed with debdiff #885643
* universalindentgui - bug filed with debdiff #885647

libqt5scintilla2-dev
Reverse-Build-Depends
=
* juffed - bug filed with debdiff #885631
* monkeystudio - orphaned already, FTBFS already #877198
* octave binNMU
* openscad binNMU
* ovito configure fail - needs patch, then fails (bug already) filed new bug
with debdiff #885644
* sonic-pi bug filed with debdiff #885626
* sqlitebrowser bug filed with debdiff #885635

I believe this transition is ready to go, so please let me know when it would
be appropriate.
