Bug#887987: zorp: please make the build reproducible
Hi Chris, Unfortunately Zorp has bigger problem than this. It is not python 3 compatible and because it uses the python language embedded, it is not just running a converter. It requires a fair amount of work on the upstream side. And without that I couldn't upload any new version to Debian, that is why it is not fixed yet. Would you consider applying this patch and uploading? Regards, -- ,''`. : :' : Chris Lamb `. `'` la...@debian.org / chris-lamb.co.uk `-
Bug#887987: zorp: please make the build reproducible
Source: zorp Version: 6.0.10-4 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch User: reproducible-bui...@lists.alioth.debian.org Usertags: buildpath X-Debbugs-Cc: reproducible-b...@lists.alioth.debian.org Hi, Whilst working on the Reproducible Builds effort [0], we noticed that zorp could not be built reproducibly. This is because it generates a (rather useless) moduledist.conf file that encodes the build path. Patch attached.
