Yeah, now I cannot reproduce any longer. (Unfortunately or luckily,
depending on point of view :)

Feel free to close the bug.

Thanks for maintaining Liferea!

Dear Andreas,

Thanks for reporting issues and sorry for not replying earlier. I just
found this somewhere drowned in my inbox.

Although I agree with this, I wonder if this is something provided
somewhere else. If you stop exporting the var, does it still fail? I.e.
is it possible that the "other thing" that broke this is now fixed?

If it still happens, I'll forward the bug (like I should have done
straight away).

Bug#894111: liferea: quits on startup with "Trace trap"

2018-03-28 Thread Andreas Ronnquist
Control: severity normal
thanks

I found that it simply was my system that was wrong - For some reason I
had an empty GSETTINGS_SCHEMA_DIR, and doing

export GSETTINGS_SCHEMA_DIR=/usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/

before running again removes the error completely. However, one could
think that the program shouldn't break like this. Lowering the
severity, I don't really see a reason to keep the package out of testing
because of this any longer.

2018-03-26 Thread Andreas Rönnquist
Package: liferea
Version: 1.12.2-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

Starting liferea just flashes the window and closes it. Running in a
terminal gives this:

Spårningsfälla

This is both on my main user, but the same is present if I create a new
fresh user and start liferea from this one.

"Spårningfälla" is Swedish for something like "Trace trap".
