With new and clean profile, offline mode works OK. Thanks for hint. Sadly I do not like to setup all thing again. Ilari H

I can't reproduce this on my side, I always get not button 'Send' and instead a 'Send Later' that is quite logical in may eyes. Please retry with a new clear profiles, such issues are mostly related to some entries in the profiles which causes such issues. -- Regards Carsten

Note the offline modus is only covering the sending and receiving of emails. I can't see any online activity except the noise of the google-calendar-plugin. You simply can see this if you start thunderbird from the CLI. The default setting about the offline mode which was selected while restarting Thunderbird is to not start in offline modus, you need to modify this if you prefer to start with the modus while Thunderbird was shutdown before.
