No problem at all, always good to "err" on checking. Out of interest,
in your workflow you run Lintian directly on the .debs itself?

Lintian will look inside any dependencies since the previous chnage
but as you have only provided a single binary .deb, it has no way of
actually interrogating them.

Can you reproduce when you pass a .changes or .dsc file that
references (at least) the two .debs in question?
