Package: steam Version: 1.0.0.54-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
When installing steam in a chroot, it's possible that fontconfig and ca-certificates are not already installed. Without these, steam behaves poorly; without fontconfig it displays only missing glyph boxes in all login dialog text and labels; without ca-certificates, there are many unloadable pages eg. the store tab displays an error. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.5 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: unable to detect Versions of packages steam depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.61 ii libc6 2.24-11+deb9u3 ii libgpg-error0 1.26-2 ii libstdc++6 6.3.0-18+deb9u1 ii libtxc-dxtn-s2tc [libtxc-dxtn0] 1.0+git20151227-2 ii libudev1 232-25+deb9u4 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.4-3 ii libxinerama1 2:1.1.3-1+b3 ii xz-utils 5.2.2-1.2+b1 Versions of packages steam recommends: pn fonts-liberation <none> pn libxss1 <none> pn xterm | x-terminal-emulator <none> pn zenity <none> Versions of packages steam suggests: pn steam-devices <none> -- debconf information: * steam/license: steam/purge: * steam/question: I AGREE
