Bug#907896: tracker-miners FTBFS in autopkgtest with latest glib2.0

This test failure seems to be specific to the schroot environment. I
cannot reproduce outside of a schroot.

Glib mime-type detection is failing, as its unable to locate/open the
test file, when calling get_content_type().

I think it might be better to just write some random text to the test
file, so that all versions of glib continue to return "text/plain".


Just checking that with upstream, but can prepare a patch.

Dear maintainers,

With a recent upload of glib2.0 the autopkgtest of tracker-miners
started to fail in unstable and testing, because the requested build
fails. I copied the output below. To be honest, the error indicates to
me that the test suite needs to be updated for a changed mime-type. But
you may disagree with me on that.

For your info, also the builds on reproducible-builds fail, although
that seems to be due to different reasons, as that already happens for a
long time:

Currently this regression is contributing to the delay of the migration
of glib2.0 to testing [1]. Could you please investigate the situation
and reassign the bug if you think the issues lies elsewhere?
