Nothing really: I’m a member of it :)

I’ve uploaded the package and pushed it to
https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/modules/pykwalify, please have a
look at my changes.

I'm totally fine with that.

To be honest, I'm quite new at creating official Debian packages and I'm not
really familiar with how uploads to the Debian repository work. I would be very
happy if my work could be backed by the Python team.

What should I do to have it accepted by the Python team?

Package: sponsorship-requests

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "pykwalify"

* Package name: pykwalify
  Version : 1.7.0
  Upstream Author : Johan Andersson
* URL : http://github.com/grokzen/pykwalify
* License : MIT
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : Python YAML/JSON schema validation library

It builds those binary packages:

  pykwalify - Python YAML/JSON schema validation library
(command line program)
  python3-pykwalify - Python YAML/JSON schema validation library
(Python 3)

I’m just thinking, Johan, how do you feel about putting this package
under a maintenance of the Python team with you as an uploader? On one
hand, you won’t ‘own’ the package, but on the other hand others
could upload fixes if your package becomes RC-buggy, for example.
