The tasks in the Ant build don't specify the source/target level, that's probably why you got these errors. I sent a pull request on Salsa addressing this issue [1]. (the bug didn't get to pkg-freeipa-devel..) Hi ldapjdk is built against jdk8 because jss/dogtag-pki still need it that way or things will break. Though now I realized maybe it might still work with -Dant.build.javac.target=1.8 (or whatever jdk8 uses). -- t
