The Merge request was accepted and adds the binary packages libmtd-dev and libubi-dev with static library archives only. This approach was taken because there are no *.so files generated in the build.
Could you please upload a mtd-utils 1:2.1.1-2? With the new binary packages this will need to pass through the NEW queue.
