Package: gddccontrol Version: 0.4.4-1 Severity: normal Hello,
I have two monitors attached right now, a dumb one without DDC/CI support and some old Samsung (which surprisingly supports DDC/CI). See below for ddccontrol scan results. The problem is: in the pulldown menu of gddccontrol, I see them both but they are labeled incorrectly. I.e. the menu says: dev:/dev/i2c-5: VESA standard monitor dev:/dev/i2c-6: Samsung SyncMaster 710TM When I select i2c-5 (supposedly the monitor w/o DDC/CI suppport) the settings pane gets enabled and shows me the control options of the Samsung monitor. And vice versa, selecting "dev:/dev/i2c-6: Samsung SyncMaster 710TM" disables the settings pane and shows the "Maybe this monitor was disconnected"... dummy label. IMHO the label formating of the "Current monitor" pulldown menu is broken, the rest works. Best Regards, Eduard. ddccontrol version 0.4.4 Copyright 2004-2005 Oleg I.
