2020-08-24 Thread Bernhard
Hello Vagrant

Here, there are additional informations. Hopefully they helps a little bit:

I installed Debian 10 on a Lamobo R1 (Allwinner A20 / Banana Router R1).
Here, you see, the AXP20x module is loaded during booting the installer:

Bug#914813: Additional informations

2020-05-15 Thread Bernhard
Hello Vagrant

After my test with Armbian at Bananapi M3, i have an idea what happens.
Is it possible, that the axp20x module is missing in the installer kernel?

In Armbian-Syslog, i found the entry:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?att=1;bug=914813;filename=syslog-armbian_20.02.1_Bananapim3_buster.log;msg=100
> Feb 17 09:43:16 localhost kernel: [2.928297] axp20x-rsb sunxi-rsb-3a3:
> AXP20x variant AXP813 found

In the latest Debian installer syslog, such kind of entry is missing:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?att=1;bug=914813;filename=uboot-2020.04.rc5.log;msg=95

Thank you for support.

Bernhard

Hello Geert

Thank you for the fast response.
Yes, you're right: i forgot to write additional informations.

Here, the additional informations:

> Boot messages from the kernel
In kernel, there are no specific messages regarding the Realtek ethernet.
These are the messages, specific to the ethernet:
> ~ # dmesg | grep "eth"
> [7.318879] dwmac-sun8i 1c3.ethernet: PTP uses main clock
> [7.433860] dwmac-sun8i 1c3.ethernet: PTP uses main clock
> [7.449695] dwmac-sun8i 1c3.ethernet: PTP uses main clock
> [7.930216] dwmac-sun8i 1c3.ethernet: PTP uses main clock
> [8.532710] dwmac-sun8i 1c3.ethernet: PTP uses main clock
>

If you need further informations, please let me know.

Thank you for the great support
