Hi,

What is the exact model of your laptop ? It may be useful for upstream
to understand what's going on and hopefully fix the bug.

Could you please try to disable one GPU in the BIOS (as pointed out in
the TLP FAQ Graphics section [1]) and see if this fixes the problem ?

I don't know if a project equivalent to Bumblebee exists for AMD Dual
graphics, but reading [2], [3] and [4] might help (don't forget to adapt
names for AMD chips).

Bug#925873: tlp: Problem while booting on Battery power

2019-03-27 Thread Repu
Package: tlp
Version: 1.1-2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

After install of Debian testing while booting on battery power system
just hangs with sometimes corrupted (xfce4) log-in screen or just a plain
black screen with corrupted mouse cursor.
   No, i can't access the terminal/console with a Ctrl+Alt+F1.

Proplem is probably connected with tlp, because removing it renders system
   bootable on battery power.
(it could be connected with my laptop having Dual AMD Radeon HD GPUs in
   crossfire)
