Package: gpg Version: 2.2.12-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, I was looking at zombie processes on my system and saw the following -
$ ps aux | grep " Z. " shirish 4686 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z Apr25 0:00 [gpg] <defunct> shirish 10174 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z Apr26 0:00 [gpg] <defunct> shirish 17720 0.0 0.0 6208 888 pts/4 S+ 21:47 0:00 grep Z. I tried to use pstree to see if I could get any more info. but that is nada because this was done way back and pstree only shares about processes currently running . The only thing close was this - -lightdm-+-mate-session-+-agent---2*[{agent}] `|-ssh-agent but nothing other than that. Any ideas how to fix that other than rebooting the system ? -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental-debug'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_IN, LC_CTYPE=en_IN (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_IN:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages gpg depends on: ii gpgconf 2.2.12-1 ii libassuan0 2.5.2-1 ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.6-9 ii libc6 2.28-8 ii libgcrypt20 1.8.4-5 ii libgpg-error0 1.35-1 ii libreadline7 7.0-5 ii libsqlite3-0 3.27.2-2 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-1 Versions of packages gpg recommends: ii gnupg 2.2.12-1 gpg suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- Regards, Shirish Agarwal शिरीष अग्रवाल My quotes in this email licensed under CC 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/ http://flossexperiences.wordpress.com E493 D466 6D67 59F5 1FD0 930F 870E 9A5B 5869 609C
